A night to remember at TRP: Operation Mincemeat
🎭✨ A Night to Remember at Theatre Royal Plymouth! ✨🎭
A group of 50 Creative Arts students from Years 7–13 recently enjoyed an exciting trip to Theatre Royal Plymouth to see the award-winning musical Operation Mincemeat.
The show was a huge hit with our students, who were captivated by its blend of humour, creativity and storytelling. Bringing a fascinating WWII story to life through music and comedy, the performance was both hilarious and inspirational—particularly for the many performing artists in our group, who left full of ideas and motivation for their own creative journeys.
Jake, Year 10, said:
“I had no idea what to expect of the show, but it was very easy to follow the WW2 storyline. It was very funny! I had a great seat and the songs were very catchy! The characters were fantastic too.”
Experiences like this are invaluable in helping our students develop their appreciation of live performance, while inspiring the next generation of actors, musicians, dancers and theatre-makers.
A fantastic evening of entertainment and learning—thank you to everyone who helped make the trip possible! 🎶🎭👏
