Students in Years 9–13 are being offered a free opportunity to take part in a British Army Experience of the Workplace during the February half term at Royal Marine Barracks Chivenor, Barnstaple.

Running on Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th or Thursday 19th February (10:00am–3:00pm), the programme will be delivered by male and female soldiers and will showcase a range of Army roles including Medical, Aviation and Combat. Students will also take part in activities designed to develop key employability skills such as teamwork, communication and problem-solving.

The day will help students understand how their school subjects link to future careers and explore pathways within the British Army. The event is free to attend, with students only needing to bring a packed lunch.

Places are limited, and applications must be completed by Monday 9th February 2026 via the online form. Confirmation and consent forms will be sent to successful applicants ahead of the event.
