Brussels Sprouts Day - Monday 1 December

Monday 1 December marks Mr James Stroud's birthday and provides us with an opportunity to remember him and fundraise in his name. During the festive period, Mr Stroud could often be found wearing a full Brussels sprouts suit with a fluffy turkey hat. It is this love of all things Brussels sprouts that has prompted us to begin our very own ‘Brussels Sprouts Day’ on Monday 1 December.  

Students can choose to pay a £1 donation to the Foundation for Liver Research (https://www.liver-research.org.uk/default.aspx) and wear an item of green clothing (one item only). 

Additionally, we will be selling sprout badges for £1 with all profits going to the aforementioned liver charity. Profits from our Christmas Card sales, Photography Calendar 2026 sales and fundraising at the Christmas show will all go to the same charity.
