City of Plymouth Festival

For the past 13 years, Tavistock College has proudly taken part in the annual City of Plymouth Festival — and this year our students continued that tradition in style. With 19 entries across acting, prose speaking and poetry speaking, the standard was incredibly high, and our pupils rose brilliantly to the challenge.

🏆 Daisy H (Year 11) – 1st place in the Year 11–13 Verse Speaking class

🥈 Alexia T & Saba P – 2nd place for Prose Speaking (Years 10–13)

🥈 Emma G – 2nd place for Verse Speaking (Years 11–13)

🥈 Keirily B – 2nd place in the Year 9 Acting class

🥉 Mia H – 3rd place in Year 8 Verse Speaking

🥉 Alexia T – also earned two 3rd places, one for Sight Reading and one for Acting

Mrs McCarty, LAMDA tutor, couldn’t be prouder of every single student who represented the college with such talent, confidence and enthusiasm.
