Last week, Year 10 and Year 13 Creative Arts students from Tavistock College enjoyed an incredible three-day cultural trip to London, packed with inspiration, creativity and unforgettable experiences.

Students explored world-famous galleries including the National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery and the Tate, where they were able to immerse themselves in some of the finest works of art and even sketch their own responses to the collections.

The evenings brought a different kind of creativity, with theatre trips to the hilarious The Play That Goes Wrong and the heartwarming Paddington musical.

To round off the trip, students were treated to an exclusive backstage tour of the iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane, gaining a fascinating insight into the world behind the curtain. They also had the chance to step into the worlds of their favourite Pixar films at the immersive Mundo Pixar experience.

A fantastic trip full of inspiration, learning and memorable moments that will undoubtedly influence students’ own creative journeys for years to come!
