TAVISTOCK COLLEGE FULL OF PRIDE AS STUDENTS RECEIVE GCSE RESULTS
This year's results reflect the commitment shown by pupils throughout their studies, supported by staff, families and the wider school community.
Overall, the College achieved a sound increase on last year's results with improved pass rates in both English and Maths at Grade 4 and Grade 5. Students achieved strongly in Chemistry, Art, French, Construction, Creative Media, Biology, Dance, Physics, Business Studies and Drama.
Alongside strong academic outcomes, many students have secured KS5 places at Tavistock College Sixth Forms along with other local colleges, apprenticeships and other post-16 destinations where they will continue their studies and pursue their ambitions.
Of note Katie Avent successfully achieved a grade 9 in every subject sat; Biology, Chemistry, Drama, English Language, English Literature, History, Maths, Physics and Spanish.

Collecting their GCSE results today, Katie Avent, said “I feel so amazed that all of my work has paid off; it’s almost impossible to believe!”

It has been a pleasure working with you and your families over the past 5 years - a huge well done!”
