Oxford and Cambridge Virtual Information Day (OCID)
We are excited to announce that Tavistock will be taking part in the OCID webinars, a collaborative programme between the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. These sessions give students and their supporters insight into the universities, including their structure, student life, the application process, and tips for preparing a strong application.
The OCID webinars are a collaborative programme between the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. They are designed to provide students and their supporters with an insight into the two institutions: the structure of the universities, what student life is like, the application process, and how to prepare a strong application.
The webinars are open to schools across the South West and include:

Session A – Admissions Information
Tuesday 27th January 2026, 5:00–6:00pm
Focus on applications, personal statements, assessments, and interviews. -
Session B – Student Life Information
Wednesday 28th January 2026, 5:00–6:00pm
Introduction to Oxford and Cambridge, college systems, and student experiences. -
Parent & Supporters Session
Wednesday 28th January 2026, 6:00–7:00pm
Covers Oxbridge vs other universities, timelines, finance, and how to support students. -
Teachers & Advisors Session
Friday 30th January 2026, 4:00–5:00pm
Focus on timelines, personal statements, UCAS references, and interviews.
Recordings will be available for those who register but cannot attend live.
