Respect Fest 2026

🌳🎨 What an incredible two days our Year 9 students enjoyed last week as part of Respect Fest 2026!

We were delighted to welcome Nev from UBUNTU and Andy from West Devon Art Workshops, who led an inspiring and thought-provoking creative workshop centred on identity, belonging, and self-expression.

Students began by creating their own Tree of Life artworks, using colour, symbols, and imagery to represent their individual experiences, values, and personal journeys. It was fantastic to see such thoughtful ideas translated into meaningful and imaginative designs.

Building on this work, students then collaborated in teams to design and construct large-scale 2D and 3D artworks, experimenting with a variety of materials and techniques. The creativity, teamwork, and ambition on display throughout the two days were truly impressive.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and hard work shown by all involved and can’t wait to see the finished pieces showcased as part of Respect Fest this September.
