Forty enthusiastic Year 7 and 8 students have been experiencing first-hand the fun and excitement of STEM at Disneyland. They’ve explored the engineering behind Disney rides, tracked the G‑forces exerted on rollercoaster passengers, and discovered the programming concepts behind drones and spectacular light shows. It’s been an amazing opportunity—made even better by the fact that skipping really is the fastest way to get around Disneyland!

Our final day was just as unforgettable. Students challenged themselves on the Tower of Terror, gathered some surprising g‑force data, and had an all-round fantastic time. Throughout the trip, they have shown resilience, curiosity and brilliant behaviour—we couldn’t be prouder.

Overall, the STEM Disney trip has been a huge success: full of fun, laughter, learning, new experiences, fresh friendships, lasting memories… and many very tired bodies!
