Work Experience in Creative Arts

Last week we were delighted to welcome four fantastic Year 10 work experience students to the Creative Arts department at Tavistock College! 🌟

Jake and Saba spent the week discovering the world of stage management, learning how to call performers to rehearsals, create and organise a props table, set the stage, operate the follow spot, and even call the show by cueing all of the lighting and technical effects. 🎭💡

Libby gained hands-on experience working with costumes and props, helping to bring productions to life behind the scenes. 👗🎬

Meanwhile, Sujan explored the exciting world of Media and Marketing, supporting the promotion of our Creative Arts activities and events. 📸🎨

All four students were an absolute credit to themselves and their school. They were helpful, professional, hardworking, and embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm. It has been a pleasure having them as part of the team this week, and we wish them every success in the future! 👏
