Year 12 Students Inspired at UCAS Discovery Day
Last week, our Year 12 students enjoyed a fantastic visit to the UCAS Discovery Day, where they explored a wide range of exciting post-18 opportunities and began thinking more deeply about their future pathways.
The event gave students the chance to speak directly with representatives from universities, apprenticeship providers, and employers, helping them to gain valuable insight into the many options available after sixth form. From degree courses and apprenticeships to career routes and training opportunities, students were able to ask questions, collect information, attend workshops and consider the next steps in their personal journey.
It was wonderful to see our students embrace the day positively and made the most of the experience, showing real enthusiasm as they explored the many exciting possibilities ahead of them.
We are incredibly proud of the way our Year 12 students represented the school. Their attitude, behaviour, and engagement throughout the visit were exemplary, and they were a credit to our sixth form community.
Visits such as this are an important part of helping students make informed, confident, and aspirational choices about life beyond school, and we hope the day has inspired them as they continue to plan for their future.
