Yondr Launch at the College
Monday saw the successful launch of Yondr across the school, and we would like to thank our students, staff and families for their support.
Although our school has been proudly phone-free for many years, Yondr helps remove the temptation and distraction that mobile phones can create during the day, allowing students to focus fully on learning and social interaction.
Students were introduced to the new process during an extended tutor session before visiting the gym in groups to practise using their Yondr pouches. Staff were on hand throughout to provide support and answer questions, ensuring a smooth transition.
What stood out most was the positive way students embraced the change. They adapted quickly to the new routines and approached the day with maturity and enthusiasm. Classrooms remained focused, and social times were filled with conversation and interaction between students.
The practical side of the rollout also went extremely well, with students managing their pouches confidently and the end-of-day unlocking process running smoothly.
We are incredibly proud of how our students responded and grateful to our staff for their support in making the launch such a success. It was a great first day and a positive step forward in strengthening our phone-free culture.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the introduction of Yondr. We look forward to building on this strong start in the weeks ahead.
