SEND
SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) at the College
At Tavistock College, our aim is to ensure that all students are supported, equipped and empowered whilst with us so that they leave with the skills, knowledge and qualifications they need to be happy, safe and successful. We achieve this through:
- high quality teaching from subject specialists which is quality assured to ensure that young people are receiving the best classroom experience
- evidence-based intervention packages which are consistently monitored to ensure their effectiveness
- implementation of advice from professionals when needed.
To achieve this, we place our young people at the centre, ensuring that student voice is complemented by family views and strengthened by partnership working with external agencies.
