Open evening – 13th July
Sports Day
Parents are invited to spectate at sports day on Wednesday 19th July. Events run from 9am to 3pm. All parents are to report directly to the track and stand to the left as they enter. Parents are also requested to park off college site and walk on site. Full details will appear shortly on the college website on the event timings with the track finals in the afternoon. We look forward to seeing you. From the PE faculty.
College uniform will be replaced with college PE kit by all pupils for sports day on Wednesday 19th July. We also ask pupils to bring sun protection and a drinks bottle.
Uniform Consultation
The unusual heat wave this week has made us consider our summer uniform policy. Whilst we clearly wish to maintain high standards of dress, it has become clear that the boys’ current uniform can be uncomfortable in hot weather. We are considering introducing tailored shorts for the boys as part of the summer uniform option for 2018
We will be undertaking a consultation with staff, parents and students over the next few weeks. If parents would like to make a contribution to this discussion they can do so by email (c.cocker@tavistockcollege.org) or in person at a meeting on 29th June, 3.45pm in the Innovation Centre.
